A multi-layer easy-to-use packaging film jointly developed by DuPont, Delaware, USA and Ceisa, France, can be used for glass bottles, cans, brick carton boxes, and other major packaging. The film is a coextruded surlyn and polyethylene (PE) film having a high tear resistance in the longitudinal direction and a low tear resistance in the transverse direction so that a pre-punch tear can be formed on the side or top of the package. The position of the pull tabs makes it easy to pull apart the package.
