When we use TY401 printing press to print packaging boxes and other products, in order to realize the idea of ​​printed matter, it is often necessary to adopt a cross-color printing process, that is, on the same printing plate, two-color and three-color printing can be completed simultaneously in different positions of the horizontal layout. In the past, it was common to use a lead-cast ink screen in an ink fountain to separate inks of various colors, but the inks were easily mixed and the printing effect was not ideal. The specific operation method is as follows.

Preparation work

First, a screw hole is drilled at each end of the ink tank of the TY401 type printing machine, and the silk thread is passed through the silk thread to install and disassemble the ink separation device.

2. Production of ink isolation device

(1) A hole of about 40 mm in width and length of the flat iron of the TY401 type printing machine is also drilled, and the hole position should be consistent with the position of the screw hole at both ends of the ink fountain of the printing machine. And an elongated sliding channel of 20 mm width is hollowed out in the middle of the flat iron to adjust the distance between the ink-insulating plates according to the width of the printing and the width of the cross-color.

(2) Stake out with thick cardboard according to the angle and curvature of the ink fountain. After the stakeout, use an iron plate of about 3 mm to cut and lay a number of ink-blocking plates for easy access. The ink-receiving upper end portion is horizontally folded into a plane, drilled into a hole, and then screwed into the sliding groove of the flat iron, and the ink-dissipating device is completed. When printing the cross-color product, the ink-dissipating device is placed in the ink fountain, and the screw holes at both ends of the flat iron are aligned with the holes on the machine, and are screwed into the screw holes at both ends of the ink tank of the TY401 type printing machine, and then the printing is started. If the product does not require cross-color printing, the ink-tight device can be easily removed by loosening the screws that fasten the ends of the ink fountain of the printing press, and the operation is convenient.

3. Cross color printing

(1) Before the cross-color printing, place the ink-blocking plate in the ink fountain, and how many ink-pads are placed, which should be determined according to the color number of the product. According to the cross-color spacing of the original, adjust the amount of ink and the spacing of the ink-insulating plates. In the ink fountain corresponding to the different color areas of the printing plate, put the ink of the corresponding color separately, and adjust the printing pressure to make the printing The layout is uniformly inked to ensure proper transfer of the ink layer.

(2) The base plate of the cross-color printing is preferably made of a metal material (such as an aluminum plate). The plate bottom of the metal material is not easy to change in the printing process, and the ink transfer is relatively stable. When the ink roller rotates, the inks of various colors are outputted. Under the action of the ink roller, the adjacent borders of the inks of the respective colors are mixed with each other, and after passing to the layout, a natural color is formed which is delimited by the color tone, and the ink layer is deep and transitioned on the printed product. More natural effect.

(3) The color printing process requires that all kinds of inks should be even and soft, the amount of ink should be accurate, and the output of each color ink in the ink fountain should be uniform, avoiding uncoordinated cross-color traces in the longitudinal direction of the layout and affecting product quality. The degree of contact between the ink rollers and the height of the inking roller should also be adjusted accurately. In this way, the color of the cross-color products can be kept uniform, and the color mixing of the cross-colors is natural.

(4) The ink has a certain fluidity and permeability. When the inks of the respective colors are placed in the ink fountain separated by the ink separation plate, the ink separation plate can better separate the adjacent inks, effectively preventing and avoiding the phase. Adjacent inks interpenetrate and string to change the hue of the ink, affecting the color of the printing. It is worth noting that when printing multi-color, the ink-insulating device is placed in one time according to the requirements of the printing. After placing the ink-dissipating device, do not move the adjusting screw of the ink volume. If it needs to be adjusted, it can only be adjusted to be small and cannot be enlarged, so as not to affect the consistency of the arc of the ink-blocking plate and the ink fountain, and avoid the mutual penetration and mutual mixing of the ink.
