Born in Bucharest, Romania, Alice Pirsu began her career as a professional tennis player at just 12 years old. As she traveled across more than 50 countries on the tennis tour, she developed a deep appreciation for art, languages, and cultural diversity. Each day off the court, she immersed herself in museums, architecture, and local traditions, which sparked a lifelong passion for design and aesthetics. After retiring from tennis, she pursued higher education at the University of Pennsylvania, earning a degree in Economics and International Relations.
Her desire to make a difference led her to an internship with the U.S. Senate, but despite her achievements, she felt something was missing. That void led her back to her true passion—art, art history, and design. She earned a second degree from the New York School of Interior Design and went on to work with top firms in New York City, handling multi-million-dollar home renovation projects in NYC, the Hamptons, and Bedford.
Alice Pirsu creates spaces that are safe, functional, elegant, and timeless—places where people can grow and thrive. She believes that a designer acts as a bridge between the client’s vision and the realization of their dream home. Her goal is to listen, understand, and help bring that vision to life. One of her most meaningful compliments came from a mother visiting her daughter after a project was completed. She said, “The home feels exactly like my daughter—it’s her in every detail.â€
