New bags reduce product waste

Rapak has developed a packaging bag for apple flavoured ketchup from Bahncke, a Danish fruit juice manufacturer, to minimize consumer waste of the product. Rapak uses two methods to achieve this requirement: a double-triangular sealing technique is used to guide the product into the sealed nozzle, and suspension technology is used to ensure the downward feeding.

The 5L and 10L bags have a metal-treated polyester outer layer and a polyethylene film inner layer. This two-layer film inside and outside provides excellent protection for the product, ensuring a longer room temperature shelf life.
