Improve photo quality tips

You may have heard the term "photo quality effect" in some advertisements or product reviews, but what is "photo quality effect"? Simply put, it means that there is no significant difference in the effect between the digital photos printed by the color printer and the photos taken by the studio.

Traditional film we often heard before: "This is great for digital cameras" or "too great for home color printers." Like for 35mm film, you will hear: "This small film The washed-out photo effect is really good."

What photographers need, engineers want to design is a digital imaging system from the camera to the printer, it can provide saturated colors, fine shadows and perfect details, so that users do not feel it is digital The printer prints it out.

When printing photos, there are a lot of unstable factors - "variables." In the darkroom, the amount of chemicals and the length of processing time can affect the quality of the photo. There are also many variables in the digital printing of "photo quality effects":

Factors that affect the overall quality of the original image include the resolution, image compression ratio, file size, and overall dynamic range -- the number of gray levels from pure white to pure black.

Printer ink droplet size on paper: In theory, the finer the ink droplets, the better the final image rendering performance.

Printed paper: This involves a number of issues, such as the ability to control ink droplets as they drop onto paper. Will the printed image get dirty when passing through the printer? Does the surface of the paper absorb drops of ink? Is the paper surface smooth, rough or textured?

Ink palette: This is what we are focusing on today.

I print one of the photos using the printer's "Four Color Mode". Then print another photo, the only adjustment being a change to the printer's ink settings.

Then both photos were scanned at 300 dpi for a single scan. This scan is very suitable for fast uploading to the web. The difference between the two photos you see is almost the same as the original print.

I have a four-color printer. I always think it works very well and the printed photos are very satisfying. But I couldn't compare it with other printers. Later I tried to use a "photo quality effect" printer. The result surprised me. The latter printed photos with saturated colors and a wider range of tones, making the photos come alive. Hui.

Where is the difference? In general, inkjet printers have four types of ink: cyan, magenta, yellow, and black (CMYK). The photo printer increases or increases the color ratio of the ink cartridge, making the cyan and reddish purple shadows stronger, which helps to increase the effective tone range and helps to improve the skin color effect.

Printing color photos with an inkjet printer is easier and more convenient than washing photos. Practice has shown that if you can use color-accurate programs and "photo-quality effects" printers accurately, the print effect will be comparable to traditional photos.

When you purchase a "photo quality effect" printer, you must keep in mind that: "Photo Quality Effects" does not have a unified standard - standard professional terminology, you sometimes see printers with six color inks, and sometimes you will find high dpi four-color printers . And for a single cartridge, there are no advantages or disadvantages. If the photo printer can also serve as a black-and-white document print, I recommend buying a printer that can use black ink cartridges.

Double side Silicone Coated Fabrics has characteristics quite similar to those of PTFE coated fabrics: good temperature resistance (+230°C), good chemical and electric resistance. But they are more flexible and very non-stick.On the other hand, silicone has a non-slip surface, unlike PTFE.These fabrics are available coated on one or both sides, in red\white\grey colours.
