1.1 Inspection Classification
The air shower test procedures are categorized into two types: factory inspection and type inspection. Factory inspection is conducted on each individual unit before it leaves the production line, while type inspection is performed under specific conditions to evaluate the overall quality and performance of the product.
1.2 Inspection Items
The detailed inspection items are outlined in Table 1 below. Each item corresponds to specific technical requirements and testing methods as described in the standard.

2. Factory Inspection
2.1 Inspection Content
Factory inspection includes all the items listed in Table 4, which covers visual checks, functional tests, and performance evaluations. These tests ensure that each air shower room meets the required standards before being shipped.
2.2 Inspection Quantity
Each air shower room must be inspected individually, and complete records must be maintained for traceability and quality control purposes.
2.3 Qualified and Unqualified Judgment
If any one of the inspection items fails to meet the specified technical requirements during factory inspection, the unit is considered unqualified. The defective air shower should be returned to the workshop for repair and retested until it passes all criteria.
2.4 Inspection Report
Factory inspection reports follow the format provided in Appendix A, and inspection records are documented according to the form in Appendix B. These documents serve as essential records for quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
3. Type Test
A type test must be conducted under the following circumstances:
- When a new product is finalized or an existing model is transferred to the factory;
- When there are significant changes in design, manufacturing process, or materials that could affect product performance;
- When production resumes after a period of more than one year of discontinuation.
3.1 Inspection Content
Type testing covers all the items specified in section 5.6 of the standard. The details are listed in Table 4, ensuring comprehensive evaluation of the product's performance and safety.
3.2 Sample Size and Selection
In cases a) to c), only one type test is required. For case d), samples must be randomly selected from units that have passed factory inspection, with a minimum of two units per test.
3.3 Qualified and Unqualified Judgment
If any item fails to meet the technical requirements during type testing, the entire batch is deemed unqualified. In such cases, not only must the affected units be repaired, but a full analysis of the production batch must be conducted to identify the root cause and implement corrective actions to prevent future issues.
Once the necessary measures are in place, the type test must be repeated to confirm compliance.
3.4 Test Report
Type test reports follow the format outlined in Appendix A, and inspection records are documented in accordance with the form in Appendix B. These reports are critical for certification and regulatory approval.
4. Inspection Agency
All type testing and certification must be carried out by authorized institutions recognized by the National Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA). This ensures that the testing process is impartial, reliable, and compliant with national standards.
