The Revel Systems company is based on the iPad-based POS system, which has just received $10 million in financing from Tim Tighe and Sean Tomlinson.
Revel Systems' iPad-based POS system covers the front-end features of merchant transactions. With the bar code, receipt printer, card reader and other accessories, the front desk cashier with the iPad can achieve inventory, payment and user loyalty management. The back-end functions include order delivery (such as restaurants ordering customers' orders), inventory management, and employee management.
The startup is currently in San Francisco and wants to use this round of financing to expand the market and plans to open offices in Asia and Australia.
