The Institute of Chemical Industry and Technology of Taiwan has recently successfully developed techniques for incorporating nanomaterials into paints and dyes. This not only improves the toughness of plastic materials, reduces the annoying procedures of car sunscreen treatment, but also increases the vividness of printed materials and dyed fabrics. Persistence, greatly enhance the value and profitability of textiles.
Generally, the coating is exposed to sunlight for too long, and the color will fade. However, by incorporating nanomaterials into the coating and dyes, not only the vividness of the color can be increased, but also the durability of the color can be improved and the color fading can be delayed. Therefore, inkjet inks used in ink jet printers or raw materials for printing inks, if added to nanomaterials, are printed with colors that are brighter and last longer without fading.
It is reported that the technology of the Institute of Chemical Industry of ITRI has been promoted and applied in related paints, printing dyes, and curtain dye factories in Taiwan.
