1. Plate making

Generally, nylon or polyester screens can be used to make plates. If the required ink volume is large, stainless steel mesh plates can also be used. The mesh size is generally 100-180 mesh. In addition, strong water-resistant emulsions should be used for plate making.

2, printing

(1) The amount of ink on the printing plate should be sufficient. It is best not to fill the ink in the middle to prevent foaming.

(2) The liquid crystal ink is a microcapsule ink, which tends to clog the screen plate and block the screen once printing occurs. Blisters should be thoroughly cleaned immediately.

(3) The printing pressure should not be too large to prevent the liquid crystal capsule from cracking.

(4) The thickness of the printing ink layer should be controlled within 20-30 LJ m, and should be smooth and smooth, otherwise it will affect the color rendering effect.

(5) In order to improve the liquid crystal ink color effect. Can use black (or dark color) ink to make the bottom first, then use liquid crystal ink to print the desired pattern; You can also print a thin layer of liquid crystal ink as the base color, and then use the water-based black (or dark color) ink on it. Need to print the negative pattern.

(6) Undercoat inks can be water-based inks or solvent-based inks. When using solvent-based inks, it must be ensured that the inks are fully dried without organic solvent residues. Otherwise, the solvents will react with the liquid crystal inks and affect the color rendering effect of the liquid crystal inks. .

3. dry
