The Shenyang Automation Institute’s robot subject passed national acceptance

The four advanced equipment manufacturing research projects undertaken by the Shenyang Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences were recently accepted by the expert group of the National 863 Program. The four projects are: research on snake robots with environmental adaptability, research on non-structural environmental mobile robots based on compound mechanisms, rapid prototyping process and equipment for nanocrystalline ceramic material parts, and overall application of deep-sea autonomous autonomous underwater robots Design. Among them, the deep-sea autonomous autonomous underwater vehicle (ARW) project aims at the development of international autonomous underwater robots. Based on the remote-controlled underwater robots, autonomous underwater robots, and manned submersibles, they are based on system components, carrier operations, and controls. Subsystem solutions such as navigation and positioning, optical fiber retractable, energy, and operational sensors were studied in depth. Experts believe that the construction of deep-sea autonomous underwater robots is of great strategic significance for strengthening marine environmental protection and comprehensive development and utilization of seabed resources.
