Mountain guide management provisional regulations


Chapter 1 General

Article 1 These regulations are formulated in accordance with the "People's Republic of China Sports Law" and related laws and regulations to strengthen the management of mountain guides and promote the healthy development of China's mountaineering undertakings.

Article 2 The "Alpine Guide" referred to in this Regulation refers to the professional and technical personnel who lead and assist the team members or customers to achieve the desired goals in mountaineering activities. Alpine guides are divided into four levels: Alpine Collaboration, Junior Guide, Intermediate Guide, and Advanced Wizard.

Article 3 The State General Administration of Sport is the centralized management department of mountaineering. The Mountaineering Management Center of the State General Administration of Sport is responsible for the implementation of the specific management of mountain guides throughout the country. The administrative departments of sports of provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government administer the mountain guides in this administrative region.

Article 4 The state implements a certificate-based employment system for mountain guides.


Chapter II Qualifications

Article 5 The training and evaluation of mountain guides at all levels shall be uniformly organized by the Mountaineering Management Center of the State Sports General Administration.

Article 6 Basic Conditions for Collaboration in Mountains (I) Understanding mountaineering theory, mastering certain mountaineering knowledge and skills, and obtaining qualification certificates for cooperation in mountain training.
(b) Peaks above 5,000 meters above the summit.
(iii) Mountaineering activities include the use of basic skills, mountain activities and logistic support for mountain activities.

Article 7 Basic Conditions for Junior Guide (1) Grasping mountaineering theoretical knowledge and basic techniques, obtaining a preliminary guide training certificate.
(b) At least 3 summits or altitudes of different peaks above 6000 m.
(iii) Pioneering climbing levels of at least W5.8 to W14 to achieve rock climbing difficulty of at least 5.8 and ice climbing difficulty.
(4) Having the ability to guide mountaineering activities with a technical level of 4 or below.

Article 8 Basic conditions for intermediate guidance (1) Comparing systematically with knowledge of mountaineering theory and obtaining a mid-level guidance training certificate.
(2) At least 3 peak records of different peaks above 6,000 meters, or at least 3 height records of different peaks above 7000 meters, or at least 1 peak record of peaks over 7500 meters, or at least 1 peak above 8000 meters. The height record.
(3) Meet the rock climbing difficulty level of at least 5.9 and the difficulty of climbing at least W14 vanguard level.
(d) At least two years junior guide working experience.
(5) Have the ability to plan, organize and carry out mountain climbing activities, correctly judge the danger and control the activities.

Article 9 Basic conditions for advanced guidance (1) The system masters and masters mountaineering theoretical knowledge, and obtains advanced guidance training certificate.
(b) At least three records of the summit of different peaks above 7000 meters and a record of the height of one mountain above 8000 meters, or at least one summit record of the mountain above 8,000 meters.
(3) Achieve climbing difficulty at least 5.10 and climbing difficulty at least W14 vanguard climbing level.
(d) Having more than four years experience as a guide.
(e) Proficiency in a foreign language.
(6) Have the ability to plan, organize and implement mountaineering activities, and have comprehensive coordination and leadership skills.

Article 10 If you have the requirements for applying for the altitude guidance technical grade, you should fill out the application form, submit the necessary written materials, and report to the Mountaineering Sports Management Center of the State Sports General Administration for approval.

Article 11 Applicants of mountain guides at various levels must provide the following materials after passing the examination:
(a) Alpine Cooperation
1. Application form and 5 2-inch bareheaded photos;
2. Alpine Collaboration Training Certificate (copy);
3, 2 guide rating documents;
4, the corresponding standard summit, climb certificate (copy).
(b) Junior Guide
1, application form and 5 2-inch bareheaded photos;
2、Priority Guide Training Certificate (copy)
3, 2 mid-level and above guides' assessment documents;
4. Corresponding standards for summit and elevation certificates;
5, mountaineering experience records.
