The highest gold award for packaging products, and the Gold Award for technological innovation, printing, and environmental protection: Amcor's Toblerone Tiny internal metal-freestanding pouch

The Toblerone Tiny Chocolate Bag is a small package of popular individually packaged triangle Toblerone chocolate bars. Tinies chocolate is packaged in a self-supporting bag made of non-aluminized film by Amcor DeMetXP. Several highly transparent windows on the bag surface are eye-catching. In order to create beautiful metal visual effects and translucent triangular windows, Amcor adopted a revolutionary intaglio printing on-line metal removal process that is both economical and environmentally friendly. In the non-metallizing process, instead of removing the metal layer on the aluminized base film, an aluminum eliminating agent is used to chemically react with the metal surface to form a transparent window. Because the metal layer is not washed away, the new process does not generate effluent, which greatly reduces the material loss because the non-metallic surface can be instantaneously displayed during the printing process.

Gold Award for Packaging Excellence and Silver Award for Technological Innovation: Curwood ArmorX CBP Meat Bone Shrink Bag from Curwood

The Curwood ArmorX CBP (Full Bone Protection) shrink wrap is the latest packaging for large fresh pork beef bones and is an extension of Curwood's ABP (Absolute Bone Protection) product line. Different from ABP, the CBP protective layer extends to the sealing area of the bag, and the CBP bag replaces the large piece of meat bone patch bag, and the peripheral protection protects the package edge. The CBP bag was awarded for its unique double-layer structure innovation technology, and it was continuously compounded with proprietary co-extruded blends. This bag has special toughness, shrinkage, transparency and anti-puncture properties. Inner ingredients of the bag provide windows for all types of closed devices, and the leak rate drops by 50% under extreme test conditions. The CBP bag is also suitable for Case Ready packaging machines because of its transparency, gloss and special shrinkage, and it provides high-definition printing graphics on the front and back.
