Printing equipment manufacturing: automated intelligence becomes common practice

[China Packaging Network News] The 3rd China (Guangdong) International Printing Technology Exhibition has just concluded, this exhibition is the southern version of Beijing International Printing Exhibition. Heidelberg, Komori, Manroland, KBA, Ryobi, and other large suppliers have large booths, and the machines are full of people.

Digital printing suppliers such as Hewlett-Packard, Xerox, and Canon exhibited equally impressive booths. Prepress companies such as Agfa, Screen, Kodak, and Fujifilm were not as eye-catching as ever. Digital printing represents the future? Although not necessarily, but in the prepress equipment suppliers, foreign brands are gradually withering, and the influence of domestic brands is gradually expanding.
Domestic computer-to-plate equipment CTP is headed by Kore and Aishekai, and domestic CTP plate manufacturers' booths are not small. More than 80% of visitors are foreigners. According to the introduction of these manufacturers, the number of their exports is similar to the number of domestic sales, and some of them are sold more. The domestic CTP and plates have already achieved considerable reputation in foreign markets.
Almost all printer manufacturers have occupied large-scale booths, put out the latest presses, and advertise their new smarter, more and more automatic printers that require less manual labor. The offset press can not only achieve the upper and lower editions within 5 minutes, but also complete the short board campaign of 150-200 shots.
The same is true of post-impression equipment, and the degree of intelligence of foreign brands is even more severe. This has obviously provided a lot of convenience for the flexibility of short-boarding. Overall, the benefits of printing and printing have greatly improved. Relative prepress technology is developing in the direction of the network. If the automation is not further improved, it may become a bottleneck for printing production before printing. How to deal with orders from all directions after Internet access?
There are two particularly lively traders' booths, printers and Yincat.com. Both are e-commerce companies that were recently established to sell printing production materials. The printer is invested by Ke Yin Media and has strong media resources. At present, many consumables and equipment suppliers have opened stores in printers, and sold 5 sets of Kodak CTP at the All In Print show. Yincat.com is an online shopping platform jointly established by more than two dozen printing consumables suppliers nationwide. It collects billions of dollars in annual sales of shareholders. Strategically, they plan to lead their own shareholders' customers to the Internet, and then use the platform to use Uber services. Ways to help printers to share the benefits of each other, such as helping printer maintenance engineers and bridges between the printing presses need to repair, to help the exchange between an intaglio printing factory an abandoned copper stick, so that there is a need for B again use. Expand its influence with services.
Even the material supply chain of the printing industry is on the Internet.
In this exhibition, I think that it will be affected by the 2014 China International Printing Exhibition. After all, the show will be over 6 months old and another exhibition will be held. The cohesion of the audience will be dispersed. The large-scale domestic printing exhibitions are more and more frequent, which may defeat the appetites of manufacturers and their peers.
